I understand your point and I share that feeling to.  If Christians don't stand up, they will lose their ability to stand.

Right now, it is vital for Christians to cast their vote for leaders who will do likewise.  This November is a strong first step to sending a signal that we will fight the injustice of hate crimes and the best way of doing that is by electing leadership who is especially discerning against deception.  Our goals are to reach and teach the public the deception against the trickery used in such ideas as "hate crimes" and especially to let the public not be confused that it's a "noble" thing to support.  Too often, that's how Satan attacks and that's by fooling people and yes, Christians too, that it's a "noble" thing to support.

It's time for Christians to learn, speak out, and go to the voting booth and vote for those who have strong discernment between right and wrong.

I haven't decided yet.  I'm going to have to pray about that.  All I know is that some of the candidates would be worse than other ones.  It's going to be a tough election and indeed the best thing that can be done is to bring this problem to the forefront.  Unfortunetly, all this shows is the decline in America in general--one that might not be reversed in any time in the near future.

The only thing I have to say is that as Christians, we're going to have to stand up as one and be noticed before it's too late.  Before we know it, we may have to count on one another, because we'll be all underground, like China.  Prayer will be first and God will be there for us.

Huckabee is the only one that supports Christian values like anti-abortion, he's for marriage between one man and one woman, etc. and most of all he is the only one who is not ashamed of proclaiming his belief in God running his life by faith in Him. This means a whole lot when it comes to a Christian and a leader of Christians because Jesus said that if you are ashamed of Him, He will be ashamed of you in front of His Father. If He is ashamed of our leader in front of our Heavenly Father, then there is no way that this country will be blessed through our leader and we can only expect to go further down the drain than we already are. But if we show the Lord that we are conscious of Him in our choice of a leader, then the Lord God will bless us, as He has always done for His children throughout history, when we acknowledge Him. Even McCain, as nice of a man as he is, has been ashamed to talk about his faith in God, and he is not against abortion or not against homosexual marriages. He is afraid to stand up against what he knows is an insult to God. This makes him someone that we certainly don't want. The only one that makes sense to vote for is the one who is not ashamed to stand up and pronounce his faith and belief in the teachings, precepts, and ways of the Lord God Almighty. This is why I can vote for no one else but Mike Huckabee.

I believe this is the beginning of the end. Obama has so many people convinced that he is the one who is going to "change" things. Well they are all so blind from hearing that word change, I believe that is the only reason they are voting for him. I think back to the christian movie "Left Behind" with Kirk Cameron and Nicholi (the antichrist). I read Obama's website and all the promises he has made for change in education, etc. Does he think he is superman? If he does get voted in, I pray he will do some good for this country.

This is exactly the kind of nonsense that I was speaking about in my post in the topic titled "Time to Wake up".

As long as we have these loonies running around saying its the end of the world, we have no hope. Repent of your unbelief man, and preach the gospel with confidence. Jesus Christ has all power in heaven and earth and he promised to be with us as we made disciples of all nations. It is time to get a true lesson in biblical prophecy and stop believing the lies of dispensationalism (a new doctrine).

I seem to remember a certain man by Bill Clinton promising to change things in '92.  It didn't work well then either and it will not work well if we fall for that same deception in '08.  Christian persecution, I guarentee will soar under Obama.  It is up to us on what we want to do come November.  All I know is that some politicians are definately not walking with God.  Remember the Kingdom of Israel.  One of their biggest curses that ultimately led to their capture was having no righteous kings.  That's right, NONE.  After the split of Israel into Israel and Judah, it was only Judah that had just a handful of righteous kings.

We must pray and stand for the Lord.  Satan desires to have this nation.  The question is:  Are we willing to give it to him?

   Right on, stop preaching the end of the world and quit looking like loonitics. Stick with the basic teachings of Jesus Christ on how to save people. Theres just no saving some people, it's a fact, all you can do is try. Sexual education in public schools should be limited to reproduction only. Homosexuals cannot reproduce and should not be allowed to recieve sperm at sperm banks either, if they don't want to get married and have offspring by natures design, they should not be entitled to anything dealing with the oppisite sex, that includes sperm, it should be against there beliefs since they want to be with there same sex, otherwise thier hippocrits. I can understand work place ethics, but if homosexuals want to publicly protest there beliefs, then we should be allowed to publically protest ours. Everything related to homosexuality is distasteful to me. I wish they had a gay rating for movies and tv show, so I know when not to watch it and can block it from being viewed on TV. I say let them have thier civil unions, but by no means allow them to be married in a church of God, it is forbidden by God and therefore should never be allowed. They want to live in sin, then God will pass judgement on them, its not our responsibilty to punish them, but it is our responsibility to preach god truth. Truth hurts them so much they need to hide behind the legal system, they want the government to change Gods words and allow there sin in the church of God. Let God do his own work after all he is God. All we need to do is be true christians and spread the word, it's that simple. To do anything else is the devils work. Upon Jesus Christ return to earth there won't be many chirstians anyways and we will recieve his rapture.  

   Right on, Preach Gods word not be stupid and say the sky is falling, no one knows when Jesus Christ will return, and when he does there won't be many of us chirstians anyways. Stick with the basic's spread the word of God and Jesus Chirst, don't be a fools and try and scare them into believing, that doesn't work and will only enforce thier dis-belief.

Be responsible and preach the Love of God, not Death Destruction and Mayhem  

   So many people expect miracles from God when they pray. I never had any of my prayers answered that I know of, until one day when I actually needed Gods help. I was assulted by a co-worker and believed that after he shattered everything in my knee he and his brother were planning on what to do with me, my cryies for someone to call 911 went unanswered, He tried to get me to get in the back of the work van so he could close the doors and dispose of me, since I refused and just sat on the back ledge of the van, I thought they were planning on saying I fell out of the attic and broke my neck and the knee must have happened at the same time. I was so scared I grabbed a screw driver that was near by, and prepared myself to kill him if I had to. That was the most horrifiying thought I have ever had. I put my bad leg on top of the good leg and dropped down to the hard concret driveway below, my plan was to go un-noticed and crawl to the drivers side of the van and escape. My plan failed and he was comming, I knew at that moment I had to stab him when he rolled me over so that I could escape. Instead I closed my eyes and said "dear God if there is anytime in my life I could use you, I can use you right now" when I opened my eyes I looked down the street, I saw a heat mirage forming down the street, but as sudden as it formed my boss came though it. He saved my life and possible the guy who assulted me life as well. When I was in the hospital he told my Wife, Mother and Father that he had know idea how he got there, and that he was suppose to be on the otherside of town bidding out a job. Most people I tell this story say it's a coincidence. But I know God was there for me that day. When I noticed my boss coming so did the guy who assulted me and let me go, he was micro seconds from turning me over, because his hands were on me. When he saw our boss coming he let me go and went inside the garage. This is Gods proving grounds, not all will pass Gods ultimate test of faith. I currently disabled, my wife just went legally blind 3 months ago, I was at my father in-laws funeral earlier today well now it's yesterday because of the time now. I know I won't pass all his test, but I do know I will earn my place in his kingdom. I live in alot of pain every day, I cannot stress the alot of pain part, it keeps me awake for days, it sucks for me. My time is short here on earth compared to eternity, I'm stuck in a 2 bedroom tailor, never got a chance to buy a house big enough for my 4 children, my son was 2 months old when my knee was messed up. I don't even remember that Christmas, no one took pictures either. If my wife doesn't get her social secuirty approved before my workers comp runs out, I'll have to let them repo my van and I won't have transportation for my kids. I'll have just enough for shelter and food, that is all. I have 4 healthy children and a loving wife. What more do I need :) . So next time you think you got it bad and think about saying blank you God, just remember me, I still believe and so should you. May God bless you and when you truley need him he will be there for you. Jumping off a building and saying save me God won't work. You cannot force Gods will.

As Christians, we must remember that homosexuality is a sin like all others.  Homosexuals can be saved if they repent and confess their sin.  What they must do is accept Christ.  Many ex-homosexauls have proven the old lie wrong, that one is born with a "homosexual gene".

We're living in a time much like Sodom and Gomorrah.  Pride in their sin of homosexuality caused the true downfall of that city.  It was their pride that spelled their doom.  They were proud of what they were doing, much like the homosexual activists of today.  Their pride also shows up when they attempt (and often succeed) in silencing Christians or else.

I encourage us to reach out and continue doing what we're doing.  We must be doing something right because the persecution is more bold.  The only thing we must do is multiply our efforts.  I highly encourage ex-homosexuals to join in and shed light into this pitch black world, homosexuals who are caught in that sin, live in.

Remember, the darkness hates the light, because it shines bright into a completely dark world.  The more of us who join this fight, the better.  First pray for God's direction and GO FOR IT!

What I have noticed is that no one is definitively stating the cause as being the work of Satan. The father of all that is evil and destructive.

Many times, I have often asked myself the same question.  Then I found the answer.  Most Christians claim they're Christian.  Many just sit in the pew on Sunday morning and do nothing the rest of the week.  They're spectators.  Well, Christianity isn't a spectator sport.  It's one where all who profess the name of the Lord, get involved.  Always pray first to find where you are needed and go for it.

   o.k., now we have vented our anger about what is happening to us Christians.We could stay here all day and say we need to stand up.We'll lets do it ,lets pick a day,the same day all across the country,everyone from every city and lets form a march through our cities and towns.We need to have a few leaders from each town and city, to find other believers and get this organized as soon as possible.And when we are out in full force they will have to listen to us.Lets take this country back for Jesus Christ.We can do it because, He will never leave us or forsake us.       Greetings to all the brothers and sisters in the Lord! Praise the the Lord first for these dear saints that they have been willing to go out into the highways and byways to preach and compell all that will come even if it cost us.

      I have'nt read all the writnings throughout this forum but for the most part they sound as though that the Lord is stirring up the hearts of some to have a righteous anger to start doing something, Praise God! We have been silent way to long. I don't know much but if i may share and encourage us for what lay ahead.

Philippians 1:29 For unto you it is given not only to believe on Him, but also to suffer for His sake. We have been called to suffer. Not all of us will but understand they we have been called to suffer, not comfort. Also notice the preceeding verse, be not terrified because of our adversaries, which is to them an evident token of perdition, but to us salvation and that of God. Philippians 2:17,18 Paul is being poured out as drink offering and it is joy for him to share it with us. 18 Says he urges us to do the same if we want to partake in this joy. Do what? Could that mean that that there is joy in suffering?

    One other verse if i may. Matthew 10:26-33 has blessed me and my son since being on the streets wittnessing. Take notice that this is a witnessing passage. We are more important then the sparrows of the air. Most often this is refered as a sovereignty of God passage which it is but more so a witnessing one. He is not going to allow one thing to happen to you apart from His timing, His will, if you are standing for His name sake. Thats not to say it won't happen because it will but when and how is the question.  Look at our brothers and sisters Micheal and the others who were arrested Paul says the same thing that we are talking about now in the same book Philippians 1:14 we are much more bold to speak the Word. Grace and Peace be to you all in the doing of the Lord's work.

Let the fire of the Holy One burn in you.  He is capable to raising warriors in all aspects whether it be in prayer or on the battle ground.  This is a war no doubt--a spiritual war between God and Satan, between good and evil, between light and dark.  It seeks to claim America and to destroy His people.  Of course, we know the ultimate victory belongs to God.  Satan is desperately seeking souls he can take with him to his final and ultimate doom.  Our culture is fighting against the lost souls.  God is using His messengers of today's world to try to save souls.

While many Christians either don't know how to start to fight or apathetic to do so, it is comforting to know that there are also many becoming more discerning.  Don't be deceived, because our Enemy also knows the power of deception and is using it on full thrawtle on weak Christians.  Let's win this culture war.

I've been noticing the growing persecution in the world most of my life.  Yes, what is happening here is persecution.  It may be in a different form than what is seen in China or Muslim nations but it is a form of persecution.  The Bible says that everyone who desires to live a Godly life will be persecuted.  This should not surprise us.  Jesus said that the world will hate us in the same way that it hated him.  So, what do we think we will accomplish by "standing up for our rights?"  That everyone will make nice and they will leave us "Christians" alone so that we can live in our nice comfortable homes and drive our nice comfortable cars and live a nice comfortable life?  Jesus being our example, did he fight for his rights?  I seem to think that he laid them down.  God is bigger than the Liberals.  He is not taken by surprise at what is going on, he is not scared of them, he loves every single one of them and went to the cross for them.  Historically, Christianity spreads more when it is under persecution.  Look at what is going on in China.  Increased persecution does not look like fun but, it may be what this country needs to separate the followers of Jesus from those that think they are Christian because they were born in America.  Maybe then we will see revival in the land. I am not saying that we should be silent. I am saying that we should lay down the whiny attitude that says, "they can't do this to me," or "I have the right to say whatever I want about Jesus."  We do have the right to do that.  It has been given to us by our Father in Heaven and not the Constitution of America.  The Liberals can not take that away from us.  When the Dixie Chicks made there comment about being embarrassed that they were from the same state as the President, they were exercising their free speech.  What they didn't like was the public response to that free speech.  We have to speak up but be willing to suffer the response of the world. 

Lay down your rights.  Let the Lions come - Be not afraid! God is in control!

I have to just add my two cents worth.  I agree about repenting and all, and about the end time. however, most christians don't seem to want to talk about Math. 24.  Immediately after the tribulation of that time, then shall the son of man come....., After the tribulation means the rapture is after the antichrist has come and reigned. We have a long road to haul here, better to walk circumspectly, and do stand up  when we have a chance , if nothing else to make it easier for others when they need to.

I agree with what Daniel Palmquist (above) said but I don't believe Jesus will "rapture" the church before the Antichrist rises.  Nowhere in the Bible does it say this.  Mat 24:29-31 is very clear that the rapture occurs after the great tribulation, after the opening of the 6th Seal of Revelation.

But, Daniel is correct about the coming of the end. Persecution of Christians in the United States is, at the moment, minimal compared to other countries but it has begun and will only get worse. The rise of Liberals, Homosexuals, and Islamic hatred will culminate in the destruction of Europe and the United States.  TRUE BELIEVERS NEED TO WAKE UP!

   Our time here on earth is to spread God's message of His love, truth and His gift of salvation. If all Christians were to minister to the people in their lives, co-workers, friends, neighbors etc. think how many people could be touched by the Lord. Uniting is a wonderful concept,  but i think we have to begin at "home". Start with the people around you in your everyday life and go from there. You say that many Christians are cowards and are afraid to extend themselves outside the church and you may be right. but the world has changed. circumstances are vastly different then they were say even fifteen years ago. more dangerous, we are the hunted as we were when christianity was first established. we are becoming the minority, we have to fight even harder today then in times past. this has been coming for a long time, popping up in subtle ways- no saluting the flag in school because God is mentioned, taking God off of federal buildings, no praying in schools, being arrested for speaking out against sin. Besides the daily spreading of God's word on a personal level, face to face, we now have to deal with legal actions, and protecting our kids from discrimination. we never had to deal with this in the past and i think it scares some and they need encouragment from others and web sites like this one and television shows like speechless to help show them where to begin. in what capacity they can use the gifts God has given them to further His cause. We don't have to take this lying down. We are God's soldiers and we must fight for Him. Put on your armor and hold your sheild up high for God is behind us with every step we take.  The end times are here, you see it everywhere you look. this should not be cause for fear but to awaken those who sleep and open the eyes of the blind to what needs to be done. So find your calling and pray, ask God where is he needs you most.

Hello, hello, anybody here?

I posted yesterday and it still hasn't been approved? Apparently. Is this forum dead? All those resources spent to make videos and the only silencing of the Christians is self imposed?

I would rather have put this in a more appropriate thread, or even started a new one, but neither of those options seem to exist. This doesn't look promising. Ah well, I'll get over my disappointment. I just wish someone had shown me the courtesy of informing me of the status of this forum.
